There are not a lot of changes for the 2022 Honda CR-V, but it’s still a great vehicle all the same. At Germain Honda, we’re proud to off the award-winning Honda CR-V to our customers. Here’s a look at what you can expect from the 2022 Honda CR-V inside and out.
Trim Levels for the 2022 Honda CR-V

The CR-V comes in five trim levels that start at nicely equipped to fully loaded and everything in between. The base model LX comes equipped with excellent safety features and technological touches, such as a 5-inch color touchscreen that was once only found on more expensive models and offers a satisfying driving experience.
If you’re looking for a car that covers all the comfort contingencies and anticipates some of your needs, step up to the Touring trim level to gain access to a premium sound system, wireless phone charger, auto on-off headlights, and rain-sensing wipers. Trim levels for the 2022 Honda CR-V include:
- LX (does not feature Apple CarPlay or Android Auto connectivity)
- SE
- EX
- EX-L
- Touring
As previously mentioned, the LX trim level does not have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto available in the infotainment system. It does have Bluetooth connectivity, however. In order to gain access to smartphone connectivity, you’ll have to step up to the SE trim level. The SE trim builds upon the LX with the addition of dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats, a larger touchscreen, and an improved 6-speaker audio system. Moving onto the EX sees the addition of a power moonroof, blind-spot monitor, and LED fog-lights. The EX-L offers a power lift-gate, leather-wrapped steering wheel, an 8-speaker audio system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The 2022 Honda CR-V is Loaded With Safety Features
Honda installs five different safety systems as standard on all 2022 Honda CR-Vs.
- Honda Sensing Suite
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
The Honda Sensing Suite consists of multiple assistance and safety features that alert you to various driving conditions as well as assist with steering and braking. The CMBS alerts and assists your handling of the car when there’s an object or pedestrian in front of the car and automatically applies the brakes if a collision is inevitable. The RDMS senses when you change lanes without signaling and applies the brakes to help you get back into your lane while the ACC adjusts the speed of the car when following behind another vehicle. If the car in front of you stops, the ACC can bring your CR-V to a stop within a safe distance.
